SlicethePie is a cool website, because you can either cash-out your earnings or invest them in new bands. A few sentences will do, but your earnings are directly tied to how useful your review is to the community.

- Amazon has many kinds of promotion tools such as product links, banner links, text links, Amazon widgets and aStore. You may try to test them all to find what is suitable with your articles and your website. With me, the text links and buy widget are getting the most conversion.
- The general content will get less conversion than specific product content. So you should write about some products and get more money rather than writing generic content.

You will need a website to apply, and you can use a free site if you do not want to spend money in the beginning. You must write some posts or articles and apply to Amazon affiliates programs. They will verify it within a few days. If you have no experience about online marketing, I recommend that you use free services. If you later feel this job is not suited for you, you do not lose your money to invest a domain, hosting or themes... Some recommend options are:

Blogger.com : It belongs to Google. You may not need technical skills to blog with it. It is free to register, and you can embed the Amazon widget on your blog. You must follow their rules to prevent them from banning your blog. It is easy to control and has limited functions, but it is good enough for beginners.
Hubpages.com: It is authority website. It is free also, but this has a shared revenue system. Users will receive 60% of the income and Hubpages keep the rest. It means your Amazon links will show for 60% of hub's visitors. Whenever these visitors buy during the 60% of time, you will get 100% of the commission. Someone may think this is not good, but with Hubpages you do not invest any money for start up. Another good thing is Hubpages get a lot of traffic from search engine so your articles will have more visitors.
